| Welcome to our support page. This page covers many topics such as setting up your email, and using your account. However,
don't feel as though you have to read this page instead of talking with us. Feel free to call or email us if you have a support question, and we'd
be glad to help.
Web Based Email
You can check your email account from any web browser anywhere in the world! To do this, go to
www.yourdomain.com/webmail
(substitute yourdomain.com with your domain of course) :-)
POP Based Email
You also have full POP or IMAP access to your email. Here are the settings:
Username:
Your username or often called "Account Name" for your email is in the form of:
user@domainname.com
In most cases, this is the same as your email address, so you can use your email address as your Account Name.
POP or IMAP server:
mail.yourdomain.com
SMTP server:
mail.yourdomain.com
*You must check on the option, "My server requires authentication" then hit "Settings". In Settings, check the radio button that says, "Use same settings as my Incoming mail server". (The wording may vary in your email client)
If you get "relaying denied" errors, instead use your ISP's SMTP server. ie. mail.sympatico.ca
Checking Your Web Site Statistics
To check how many people have accessed your site, what pages they've accessed, what search engine they originated from and more, you can use state-of-the-art web stats software. Simply log into your admin control panel and click the "Web/FTP Stats" Icon!
Customer Control Panel
To access your admin control panel type the following into your web browser:
www.yourdomain.com/cpanel
You'll need to type in your account username and password and hit "Login". If you don't know your login information, send us an email requesting your username/password.
You can set up new email accounts, delete email accounts, change your password, set up spam filters, set up vacation responders, check your web site statistics, upload files to your web site, and read your email all through these controls.
Posting Your Web Site
Any documents you want to put online must be in your directory named: public_html
This directory will show up as soon as you FTP into your account.
FTP
To FTP into your account:
1) Type ftp.yourdomain.com
2) Enter your account username & password into the corresponding fields.
3) Connect
4) Your files will be located in the public_html directory.
Remember: you also have access to upload files to your web site through your control panel and Front Page.
